The school league tables for 2013 GCSE results were published in January 2014. Based on traditional 'GCSE only' courses, the table below shows a ranked order of how high achieving pupils at KS2 fared in local schools in their final GCSE results after five years at their chosen secondary school.

The school was also ranked second in the table for middle achieving pupils and fourth in the table for lower achieving pupils. In 2013 the school achieved a record 61% of pupils gaining five or more higher grade (A*-C) passes including English and mathematics.
