Bowdyn Neely – OHA UK 2020/21 team captain

Okanagan Hockey Academy UK is delighted to announce Bowdyn Neely as our new Captain for the 20/21 season.

Bow will be taking over Joseph Llewellyn who has now graduated from OHA UK’s ice hockey programme.

Canadian born Bowdyn Neely joined OHA in 2019/20, from his Canadian academy in the CSSHL (Canadian Sports School Hockey League) where he had the most assists as a D-man on his team. Bow has impressed OHA UK coaches in the short period he’s been at the academy.

OHA’s Head Coach Ryan Aldridge said:

“Bow is a fantastic defenceman, since joining OHA UK he’s added more depth, offence, and leadership to our team. He demonstrates all the key characteristics we look for when selecting a leader. He is hard-working, dedicated, respectful, leads by example, and shares the core values of OHA UK. Bow works very hard on and off the ice and has developed a considerable amount in the last year.”

On becoming Captain, Bow said: I am very excited and proud to be asked to take on the captaincy for the coming season. I can’t wait to get back to the ice with the team and welcome the new members to OHA UK

Everyone at OHA UK would like to congratulate Bowdyn Neely for obtaining his position as Captain.
