24 Jul Graduates to Gotland
Harvey Robson and Adrian Duzsnik have both signed for Visby Roma is Sweden.
After a positive showcase in Sweden back in June, both players had options around the globe but have made the decision to sign and play for Visby Roma on the Isle of Gotland, Sweden. This is also where Alumni player Balint Pakozdi played his hockey in 2017/2018.
Head Coach Ryan Aldridge commented on Harvey.
“This is a great opportunity for Harvey and where we feel he will develop the most next season. It’s the right environment for him and I know they are keen to see how far they can push him. He had a lot of interest at the camp with almost all the scouts and coaches wanting him in their organisations but after sitting and talking to Ken we felt it was the right place for him to be. Harvey has come so far in the last two years and its down to his hard work and his desire to play at the highest level he can”
“Being at OHA the last two seasons has definitely helped me a great deal both on and off the ice. I feel as if I have had the best opportunity to improve at OHA and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is trying to take hockey to the next level. Being there has also opened up opportunities for myself with training and playing with the Swindon Wildcats. Also going to the showcase in Sweden at the end of the season gave me opportunities for next year and lead me on to the next step. I would like to thank all the staff at Okanagan UK for the opportunity and memories they have created for myself and I am very excited for my next step in Sweden.”
Head Coach Ryan Aldridge Commenting on Adrian.
“Adrian again had options from the camp but with the way Visby are planning next season, with the way they focus on skill development and lots of ice time, Adrian thought it was the right place for him and I have to agree. Adrian is a smart skilled hockey player who improved immensely last season and I know jumping into a program like Visby with Ken and Mike he will only flourish more.
Both the boys are great people and I wish them the very best next season. I know they will both have a positive impact in Visby.”
“OHA helped me a lot with my all-round skill level, it made me faster, stronger and a much more confident as player. My time here opened doors for other opportunities and helped me get to the next level by signing for Visby”
