OHA Players Make GB U16’s

Okanagan Hockey Academy UK, are pleased to announce that 4 of its 2019/20 team have been called up to this year’s Great Britain U16’s squad for their upcoming tournament in Riga, Latvia next month.

Ice Hockey UK announced this week that OHA UK defenceman Bailey Perre, along with forwards Oli Endicott and Josh Shaw have all made the final 22 team to travel, with Cain Russell being selected as standby reserve.  This is an outstanding achievement for these players, as they make their first selections for the Great Britain programme.

OHA head coach Ryan Aldridge said “Everyone at the academy is thrilled for these guys.   They have worked hard since September developing their games, and are seeing the rewards.  We have a long list of players who have come through the Academy here in Swindon and gone on to represent the national team, and we are pleased to add these boys to that list.  We know that they will be great representatives of the Academy while away with the national team, and look forward to monitoring them and this years team while they are away. We wish them the best of luck”
